With the return to schools well underway its a good time to remind everyone about staying safe.

Parents and carers are encouraged to speak to children about personal safety, being aware of surroundings, and reporting anything that makes them feel uncomfortable. Remind children not to share personal information with strangers or online, and to keep phones and other valuables secure.

When travelling to and from school encourage children to use well-lit routes and follow the rules of the road. If travelling by bicycle or scooter, ensure appropriate safety equipment is used.
